"Deep Dive" community participation events happening all this week are driving how the Kalispell Trail and Complete Street Project design is progressing through the first phases of the design process. A variety of opportunities for community members to meet with the design team, city staff, and stakeholders are happening all this week. So far, these interactive, immersive meetings have been well-attended and the flow of ideas and excitement does not seem to be slowing down.
If you have not yet participated in this "Deep Dive" event to weigh-in with your ideas, visions and concerns for this project, please do not hesitate! Tuesday night the team will be interacting with the public at Sunrift Brewery, 5 to 7 p.m., located next to the future trail at 55 1st Ave W N. If Wednesday evening works better for you, the evening round-table from 5 to 7 p.m. will take place at ImagineIF Library of Kalispell. The Kalispell Center Mall will host the Thursday evening round-table from 5 to 7 p.m. Daytime hours work better for your schedule? The team will be available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce located at Depot Park, Wednesday and Thursday.
Alta Planning and Design and KLJ Engineering have been working on sketches and design alternatives from the input they have been receiving. On Friday, everyone is invited to a Design Alternatives Presentation to see and hear some vision alternatives that have flowed from the Deep Dive feedback. This will take place Friday, June 8, 2018, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the Kalispell Center Mall in the former Herberger's Junior Store. Hope to see you there!
June 4 - 8, 2018, to the Kalispell City Council during their June 4th meeting.
